Cheque Pick Up Information
Due to the strike happening with the Canada Postal Service, we expect delays in receiving payments.
We appreciate your patience as we work with productions to ensure these delays are as minimal as possible.
Cheque Pick-Up Information
We are available for pick-up Monday to Friday, 11:00am to 5:00pm.
To save time on your visit, please email us in advance (preferably the day before) so that we can prepare your cheques for pick-up.
How to Pay Commission
As an agency, we charge a 15% commission for any work that is arranged or established by the agency .
Cheques cannot be taken from the office until commission is paid. No Exceptions.
We accept either cash, cheque or email money transfer as a form of payment for commission.
We do not have a P.O.S. machine, therefore we do not accept credit or debit cards.
How to Calculate Commission
Keep a record of the hours that you worked.
The first 8 work hours of a day you will be paid straight time.
After 8 hours of work time, it will be time and a half ( x 1.5 ), and after 12 hours of work time, it will be double time ( x 2.0 ).
Non-Union Performer Example: The first 8 hours will be a pay rate of $19.16 per hour
After 8 hours of work, the pay rate will be $28.74 per hour
After 12 hours of work, the pay rate will be $38.32 per hour
*These rates are inclusive of the 4% vacation pay*
